What Is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a brain-body-based healing method designed to help you process and release the emotional residue of stress, trauma, and limiting beliefs that may be living quietly beneath the surface. It’s rooted in the simple but profound concept that where you look affects how you feel.

During a session, we use your natural gaze or a pointer to locate a specific eye position—what we call a "brainspot"—that connects to unprocessed experiences stored in your brain and body. It’s subtle, intuitive, and deeply effective.

​What to Expect During a Brainspotting Session
Every session is led by you—your body, your intuition, your timing. We’ll start with a check-in about what’s present for you. It might be something clear, like a specific stressor or memory, or something less defined, like a heavy feeling or sense of being stuck. Whatever it is, there’s no pressure to have it all figured out—we meet it with curiosity, not judgment.

From there, I’ll guide you to notice where you feel that experience in your body. We’ll use your gaze to locate a brainspot—a spot that activates the part of your brain where that emotion or memory is held. Then, we simply hold that space together. You might feel physical sensations, waves of emotion, or quiet stillness. You might gain insights or just feel a gentle release. Every session is different, and every experience is valid. I’ll be there to support you, offer grounding tools, and hold a safe, compassionate container for whatever shows up.

By the end of a session, many people feel lighter, clearer, and more connected to themselves. And with consistent support, Brainspotting can help you create lasting shifts that ripple through every part of your life.

Brainspotting + Personal Coaching
In a combined session, we integrate the deep emotional healing of Brainspotting with the forward-focused guidance of Personal Coaching. The session begins with a brief coaching discussion to clarify your current goals, challenges, and intentions. This allows us to tailor the Brainspotting process to address specific emotional blockages or mental barriers that are hindering your progress.
Once we’ve identified the focus area, we’ll move into the Brainspotting technique, where I’ll guide you in using eye positioning to access the emotional material stored in your brain and body. This process helps to release past traumas, negative beliefs, or emotional blockages, so you can move forward with greater clarity and peace of mind. During this part of the session, I’ll be right beside you to offer support, guidance, and encouragement as you work through these emotional shifts.
After the Brainspotting session, we’ll transition back to coaching. I’ll help you process what came up during the session, reflect on the shifts you experienced, and set actionable steps that will keep the momentum going. This approach ensures that you not only clear emotional and mental blocks but also leave the session with a tangible plan for moving forward—whether that’s working on a specific goal, improving self-confidence, or developing new habits that support your vision.
